Identity Study Group

todo

preliminary curation

over the next two weeks

  1. add books / readings we like
  2. each skim asynchronously find highlights we like, share them back with each other; surface and articulate what we like about the passages (topics, themes, motivations etc.)
  3. chat about the order of the syllabus
  4. convene in two weeks to finalize

misc notes

can we incorporate some natural lifecycles into the process? forking etc.? sunsets? as needed

fundamental meta-question: is “this” a “study group” or an inclusive participatory study process with healthy lifecycles and regenerative aspects, with coming and going, freedom, joy, etc

Spencer Notes

I find the hardest psrt is to have a point to the group. I propose we take enough time to state what we think our identities are. First we could say where we come from, then how we are connected into the world now, and perhaps lastly we talk about our understanding of what the borders of identitiy are to each of us. What say you?
